WHAT ARE THEY THINKING???

THIS IS:  National frozen food month
                 National  Cleaning Week

SAYING OF THE DAY:   "A house is not a home without a dog."

Daisy has writer's block so I will write for her today.  Did you ever wonder what your dog is thinking?  We all know it is "I Love You" when they stare at us with those huge puppy dog eyes.  And they are saying "I'm sorry" when their eyelids droop a bit when we are scolding them.  When they lick their chops while we are eating a meal or a snack and their head and eyes follow every movement of our arm, they are saying "Please give me a taste."  Daisy knows she gets a bite of a cookie fresh out of the oven.  Yeah that look works.  Her pleading eyes make me give in.

What are dogs thinking when they take something from a desk or counter?  The other day Daisy took an empty prescription bottle off Don's desk.  It didn't smell like beef or a dog treat.  Why did she take that item and not the remote control, at least that has a similar shape to a bone,  Did she expect to find a Snausage stuffed into it or did she take it because she could.  What was she thinking?  She didn't hide it very well.  It was on the dining room carpet when we got home.

Daisy does not have the destroying gene in her DNA.  She has never chewed on wood or leather furniture.  She does not destroy shoes or pillows.  Does she have a plastic fetish?

Daisy is really a good girl.  When I walk my laps around the island in the morning,  she is right there by my side walking with me.  It doesn't matter that she sometimes almost trips me up, she thinks she is doing something good.  I have to smile because she is.  She follows me all over the house.  Is she there to cushion my falls?  It seems she wants to take care of me.  That is okay because I need her at the foot of the bed at night, laying next to the shower stall and there for me when I get out.  She's even at my feet when I am sitting on the toilet.  Okay I get it...TMI.

Lets just keep wondering why they do what they do.
