MOM GOT A TAT

THIS IS:  National Stroke Awareness Month

QUOTE OF THE DAY:  "Never a failure, always a lesson"

Mom Got a tat.  What is that, you make  ask?   Well, to those of us in the know, it's a tattoo.    Yeah, well into her senior years, and she does something a teenager would do.   It's been said, that as people get older their age actually reverts to that of a child or in general, younger years.

Mom claims there is a very good reason she got her tat. No, not to be cool, but to mark a spot on her knee where a medical device must be placed.

Since her stroke, mom has had a little trouble learning to walk again,  The device is called a Walk Aid, and it helps keep her foot from rolling sideways.   The electrical pulses zap the nerves  that go to the foot promoting better walk ability.

Anyway,  her tat is really cute.   Since she and dad are avid theme park fans, mom picked a head shot of Minnie Mouse for her tat and, it's in color.  It is really cute, but a mouse?  How about a dog like me, or a puppy paw.  I've seen dog tats on television on that show  Pit bulls and Parolees.  It seems they all sports a tat  of a pit bull.  Pit bulls are strong and fun to play with, but mom should have put me on her knee.

Maybe the next one.   I've heard her say that once you get your first tattoo, you'll want another one and she does.   She tried talking dad into getting one or at least getting a pierced ear, but he'll have none of that stuff.

I'm with mom on this one.  Some body art is trashy looking, but a meaningful piece of artwork in the right location is  good.   Just take a look at mom's right.
