CATS!!!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:  "In times of joy, all of us wished we possessed a tail we could wag."

THIS IS:  Go Fetch! Food drive for Homeless Animals Month

When mom and dad brought me home, I didn't know there were two other adopted pets already living with them.  There goes my dream of being an only pet.  When I went to greet my new siblings, they both ran away...in opposite directions.  Felines, they are so fickle.

The black one, Mickey, always runs, but the Hemingway is curious. We've been nose to nose, Minnie is so sweet.  Even when I have her trapped on the floor, she just looks so cute.  And I know she isn't really afraid of me.  I think she's just cautious because I am so much bigger than her.  Sometimes I can catch her.  I restrain her with my paws and she just rolls over and looks at me.

Mickey sits on the coffee table and swats his paw at me, right on my nose.  That doesn't scare me, he's declawed.  When he jumps off the table and runs, I give chase.  He is so fast and then he jumps up on something.  I get yelled at for chasing, but Mickey started it.  He sometimes confuses me, he, at times, leaves food in his bowl for me.  Doesn't that mean he likes me?  Tet, he won't let me near him.  I don't get it.  He jumps on the bed when I am there and he walks in front of me when I am on the sofa.  I guess he thinks mom and dad are there to protect him.

OK, I admit it, I like the cats.  Dogs aren't supposed to, but  do.

Mom has been lobbying for another kitten.  Is she trying to build a zoo in here?  Dad says one dog and two cats are enough.  I agree about the cats, but another dog for me to romp around with sounds like a good idea.

  1. Daisy, we would definitely opt for another dog. You could adopt a brother or sister. Our Mom and Dad were just going to get one dog, Decker, until Dad saw Digger and realized he needed him too, especially since he didn't have a home yet. We are so glad we came to our new house together. It was work at first, but we have so much fun together. Our Mom and Dad say they don't know what they would do without both of us, they were so used to having only one dog at a time. Let us know how this idea works out. Glad to see you back.
